CHORUS is pleased to help spread the word about the new focus of Metadata 20/20. On the relaunched website, Metadata 20/20 states “As we move into 2021 and beyond, Metadata 20/20 is officially shifting its focus to support a community driven and owned action plan.” The updated website launched 27 January 2021.

One of the possible Metadata 20/20 actions is to sign a pledge, as CHORUS did, to support richer metadata. Sign the pledge at www.metadata2020.org.

Metadata 20/20 is a collaboration that advocates richer, connected, and reusable, open metadata for all research outputs, which will advance scholarly pursuits for the benefit of society.
